Kraków, Poland. August 11, 2017. Russia showed great fighting spirit over Canada in 3-1 (25-23, 29-27, 22-25, 25-17) at the Hubert Wagner Memorial 2017. Russia recorded a valuable win on the road, Sergey Grankin’s effective kicks gave the Russians a lead on the first technical break of 8:6 in the last set. The two sides, both of whom played their part in this exciting tussle, Maxim Mikhailov were locked at 25-17 as they went into the final strategy break.

In the next match, Russia will be played with France.
