Zenit Kazan claim re-match victory with VfB Friedrichshafen in home

Kazan, Russia. January 31, 2017. Zenit Kazan claim re-match victory with VfB Friedrichshafen in home stamped 3-0 (25-18, 40-38, 25-17) of play in 4th leg at Saint Petersburg Kazan of the 2017 CEV Men’s Champions League. The scoring machine of Russia Maxim Mikhaylov scored top 17 points, following Wilfredo Leon and Matt Anderson scored 15 & 14 points, respectively. On German side, spiker Daniel Malescha grabbed 16 points for VfB Friedrichshafen.

On the next game day, Zenit Kazan will fly to Paris to play with the local team Paris Volley on February 15 at 19:00 local time.

“I believe that the audience was pleased with a true feast of Volleyball tonight. VfB FRIEDRICHSHAFEN were really tuned up, playing at ease, without any pressure, and the 40-38 score of the second set speaks rather vividly for that,” said the head coach of Zenit KAZAN, Vladimir Alekno after the match.
