Belgorod, Russia. March 15, 2017. Belogorie Belgorod move a step closer to Playoff 6 in defeating Zaksa Kedzierzyn Kozle at home victory with a score 3-1 (13-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-20) in the playoff 12 of the 2017 CEV Men’s Champions League at Sports Palace Cosmos Hall. 218cm giant “Lions” Dmitriy Muserskiy scored top highest 23 points, following his teammate Maxim Zhigalov scored 16 points for Belogorie. On Poles Sam Deroo grabbed 21 points for his team finally.

After the match, Belogorie coach Alexander Kosarev stated that the team spirit and character made the difference for his team. “We made too many mistakes and could not cope with Zaksa’s service in the first set. However, we could survive after that shock and were able to change the course of the game in our favour.”

The re-match will be played on March 22 at 18:00 local time in Poland.
